DOCTRINAL STATEMENTS
ARTICLES OF FAITH
1. We believe in one God; The Father Almighty, makers of
heaven earth and all things visible and invisible: (1 Timothy 2:5) in Jesus Christ. His only begotten Son our Lord, who is one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made. Colossians 1:15-18) and in the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who was sent from the Father and the Son and who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified. (John 14:15-17, Acts 2:4)
2. We believe that man was made in the image of God that he might know, love and enjoy Him forever. That our first parents by disobedience fell under the righteous condemnation of God, and that all men are so alienated from God that there is no salvation from the guilt and power of sin except through God's redeeming grace. (Titus 2:11)
3. We believe that God would have all men return to him and that to this end He has made Himself known through the works of nature. The course of his providence, the consciences of men and through supernatural revelations made especially to a chosen people, and above all, in the fullness of time, through Jesus Christ his son. (Galatians 4:4, II Peter 3:9, Exodus 19:6; and I Peter 2:9).
